Another Derby Bridge

In an earlier quiz, our respondents correctly identified the Peter Hart Bridge across the Naugatuck River, and this time we are asking you to give us the correct name to the other automotive bridge crossing the Naugatuck River in derby. This bridge is named after a Derby mayor who came from a very prominent Derby family. Besides serving as mayor, this prominent citizen served as the police commissioner, member of the board of apportionment and taxation, president of the Derby Public Library and president of the Birmingham National Bank. He was also president of the Griffin Hospital Board of Directors and the Housatonic Council, Boy Scouts of America and a member of the boards of directors for the Birmingham Water Co. and the Derby Gas and Electric Company.
